Had a great time at the Renaissance Faire! A fun time with some really interesting shows. Be prepared to become part of the shows sometimes! The Drunken Smithy was my personal favorite! Plenty of incredible food and drinks! Beer wine and hard cider are plentiful and easily consumed
My family and I experienced a dinner theater showing of Charles Dickens "A Christmas Carol" at the Mount Hope Estate. This was such a great experience. I loved the food, drinks and actor interactions. I highly recommend this place for such events.
The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire is an event that always provides entertainment for all ages. You can easily spend the entire day onsite and visit the various shows, demonstrations, food vendors, etc. They do have some unique dishes, but some have a little less value than expected. If you visit, I highly recommend you try the Smoked Turkey Legs, Cranberry Cider & the many Dessert vendors. Bring a wad of cash, as it's easy to spend $80+ on food & drink, or go back to your vehicle and eat a packed lunch. After 5 visits, we have yet to be bored!
My friends and I attended dinner theater. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously. The staff was welcoming and fun. Everyone had a chance to participate.
Plenty of parking. Complimentary wine tasting with a nice variety of both dry and sweet wines. I received a good discount for purchasing a case. My only disappointment was not having someone help me create the case. 12 bottles of wine in a little basket is a lot to carry.
Final thought... This is one of the few places were costumes are not only allowed, but encouraged!
